How we handle browsing and account information.

Browse without an account. Our host keeps ordinary request logs needed to run and protect the site.

Theme preferences stay in your browser. Earlier versions also stored analytics choices and saved plans locally; those controls have been retired. Existing local data is not uploaded or synced. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser data.

Google Analytics loads automatically on every page, including account and admin pages. It uses cookies to measure visits and basic browser or device information so we can see which parts of Limito are useful. Advertising signals and ad personalization are turned off. Initial page-view URLs and referrers omit query strings and fragments. We do not send account fields or credentials as custom analytics events. Previous saved analytics choices no longer control loading.

A company submission contains what its contact sends us. We use it to review the record and reply. We do not sell it.

Weekly discovery uses public search results to suggest company pages for private review. Research tools may send only that public company information to configured AI providers to draft listing copy. Company-submission contacts and private visitor data are not part of that AI workflow. Candidates stay private unless a person accepts them.

Customer accounts store your verified email, name and account type. Essential HTTP-only cookies keep you signed in for up to seven days; sign-in challenges expire after ten minutes. Brevo sends your sign-in emails. Authenticator secrets are encrypted, and sign-in tokens, recovery codes and API keys are stored as hashes. Recovery codes work once.

We record API request totals to show usage and enforce daily or monthly allowances. Recent activity records the key identifier, plan, endpoint type and request time, without your key secret or request parameters. Activity is targeted for deletion after 30 days, with gradual cleanup when the API is active; aggregate totals are retained. We also store subscription status, billing-period dates and Stripe customer and invoice identifiers. Stripe handles payment details; Limito does not receive or store card numbers. API keys access data; they cannot sign in to a secured customer account. Contact us to request account or personal-data deletion; billing records may need to be retained for accounting obligations.

Essential security cookies also protect restricted areas of the site.

First Look stores your email, subscription choice, confirmation date and delivery status. Brevo sends confirmation links and newsletter editions. Public signup requires email confirmation; subscribing through a verified account uses that account’s verified email. Hashed email links and an essential HTTP-only cookie provide read-only newsletter access for up to 30 days. Newsletter pages do not load analytics. Unsubscribing stops future editions and revokes reading sessions; subscription and delivery records remain so we can respect your choice and prevent duplicate mail. Contact us to request deletion.
