Limito for developers

Platform research.
Ready for your product.

Bring earning-platform information into your app: company details, eligibility, official links and dated source references, in a consistent JSON format.

No card required for Free. No automatic overage charges.

01 / Context

Platform descriptions, starting costs, requirements and application routes help people understand their options.

02 / Evidence

Sources you can follow

Source URLs and recorded check dates let your app explain where an answer came from.

03 / Structure

Built for integration

Consistent fields, explicit unknowns, eligibility filters and paginated records. No page parsing needed.

No surprise request charges. When your allowance is exhausted, requests return 429 until reset or upgrade. Free resets at midnight UTC. Paid quotas reset with your subscription period; unused requests do not roll over.

History means recorded history. Limito has dated verification and link-check events, not a guaranteed number of days for every platform. Company research coverage varies, and unreviewed fields remain empty. A paid plan does not make a record verified.

From your server to your app

Your first request

Create an account, secure it with an authenticator, and name your API key. Copy the full key when it is created; it is shown only once.

curl 'https://limito.net/api/v1/opportunities?country=CA&limit=10' \
  -H 'Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY'

Send Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY on every request. Store your key on your server, outside browser code and URLs. Read the full API reference (JSON) ↗

Find the records you need

  • GET /api/v1/opportunities — list and filter.
  • GET /api/v1/opportunities/{id} — one platform.
  • GET /api/v1/opportunities/{id}/history — recorded checks, on paid plans.

/api/jobs is a supported list alias. Filters include country=CA, province=QC, remote=true, degree_required=false and verified=true. Unknown facts do not pass a filter.

These are earning platforms, not individual vacancies. Keep source links and check dates visible; access never guarantees hiring or earnings.

Predictable pagination

Use ?page=1&limit=10. Page limits are enforced by your plan on the server. Follow pagination.next with the same Authorization header.

{
  "page": 1,
  "limit": 10,
  "total": 10,
  "total_pages": 1,
  "hasMore": false,
  "next": null,
  "previous": null
}

Example pagination for a ten-record sample. Free queries share one sample of up to 10 fresh, open platforms. Filters, aliases and extra pages cannot unlock another sample.

Clear limits. Useful responses.

Allowances and rate limits

A valid list, detail or history request uses one request, including a record lookup that returns 404. Failed authentication, invalid filters and rejected limits do not consume the allowance.

X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Reset describe your daily or monthly quota. The corresponding X-RateLimit-Minute-* headers describe your separate minute window. Reset timestamps use Unix seconds.

On 429, obey Retry-After. Keys, route aliases and key rotation share the same counters. Cache results between refreshes.

Shared service protection

Service protection can pause calls before your plan quota is used: 600 requests/minute and 50,000/day across the API, 5,000/day for Free traffic, and 10,000/day per account. Daily protection resets at midnight UTC. These are operating ceilings, with no reserved capacity or uptime guarantee.

Common responses

400
Invalid filters, pagination or request fields.
401
Missing, invalid, expired or revoked API key.
402
History requires a paid plan.
403
Account suspended or key exceeds the current plan.
404
Record is outside your accessible dataset.
409
Access changed during the request; retry.
429
Quota, minute limit or service protection reached.
503
Service temporarily unavailable.

Evidence with its limits

verified=true requires a factual review within 14 days and no later conflicting observation or listing change. Link checks do not renew factual evidence. Company profiles contain only approved research, and some records await review.

Billing you control

Stripe manages monthly subscriptions and payment details. Access activates after verified payment. Manage billing in your account to upgrade, downgrade or cancel. Upgrades are invoiced immediately; downgrades and scheduled cancellation take effect at period end.

Business permits commercial production use. Bulk redistribution requires separate terms. Website browsing remains free for everyone. Contact Limito for help.
