01 / The work

What you actually do

Sellers open a shop in a desktop browser, publish physical or digital listings, set prices and shipping, and receive eligible Etsy Payments sales through their bank or Payoneer account. Items must be made, designed, handpicked, or sourced by the seller under Etsy’s Creativity Standards. Check all costs first: a setup fee may apply, and listing, transaction, payment-processing, currency-conversion, and Offsite Ads fees vary by transaction or location.

02 / Public perspective

People’s experience

The sampled Trustpilot reviews are predominantly negative, with buyers and sellers describing problems with account restrictions, support and resolving orders. These are individual reports from a self-selected review site. They do not establish how a typical seller performs or whether a particular shop is reliable.

Separate source snapshots, not a combined rating. Reviews are self-selected opinions and may describe customers rather than people earning through the platform.
